Today we went by bust through a National Park to a small harbour at Tschivirkuiskij where we boarded a boat to take us across the Bay to a place of hot springs. The crossing was a pleasant ride but the springs were not as I had imagined. I had though that they might be large pools amongst the rocks but they were small rectangular holes in the ground with wooden slatted seats, like a sauna. Interesting but not impressive.
The journey back through the National Park was more interesting and we stopped several times to look at the shoreline of the Lake. The beach sand was a wonderful red/orange colour which contrasted with the forest and the mountains behind in the distance.
Here is a bit of driftwood modern art, created with touch screen apps on the bus back.
