A collection of colourful street portrait shots from this year’s Glastonbury Frost Fair. The Frost Fair was started in 2002/3 by Alan Gloak and his late sister Jill with just 12 stalls. This year it was the biggest I have seen with over 200 stalls. It now takes over the whole of the town centre and must surely be the premier Christmas Frost Fair in the whole of the South West.
Alan Gloak MBE is a former Mayor of Glastonbury a former Chairman of Somerset County Council and an Honorary Alderman of the County Council. Here is Alan on his charity stall with his niece and nephew.
The Frost Fair is always a great opportunity to photograph the wonderful, colourful people who are dressed ‘normal for Glastonbury’.
