The storm waves around the south-west coast were particularly impressive in the early part of 2017. I made three trips in February: on 2nd to Dawlish to capture the waves battering the Atmospheric Railway; on 3rd to the north coasts of Somerset and Devon; and, on 23rd Ilfracombe during Hurricane Doris.

I was supposed to be part of the Running Wild Photography Exhibition currently open at Dunster but my concept and its execution didn't pass muster and, having left it too late to change tack, I had to withdraw.
